Sparano + Mooney Architecture was commissioned to design Saint Peter parish's new religious education building for a growing community. The project is a new construction of approximately 10,000SF to be used for children and adult classes and will also offer classes in ESL. The building is situated within a large site featuring existing church and rectory buildings, open fields, a playground and a picnic area. Architectural solutions were developed from a sustainable design approach and from interaction with the parish community that led to the development of a visitor's experience of learning through preparation and growth.
